Kontor Supply Co. ("Kontor," "we") operates kontorsupply.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Information we collect

Order information. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and billing information. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on Kontor Supply servers.

Communication. When you email us or fill out a form, we retain the content of those messages and your email address so we can respond.

Site analytics. We collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) and aggregated analytics (page views, referrers, session duration). We do not sell analytics data. We do not use behavioral advertising cookies.

Delivery records. Our delivery crew records proof of delivery, which may include a timestamped photograph of the chair at the delivery address and GPS confirmation. These records are retained to document order fulfillment.

How we use it

• To respond to your questions and support requests
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, delivery updates)
• To send inventory-drop emails if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time from any of our emails

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who need it to operate the business: our payment processor (Stripe), email service provider, delivery crew, and analytics/hosting vendors. These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and use it only for the purposes we specify.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function (e.g., cart state) and first-party analytics cookies to measure aggregate traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the site may not work as intended.

Data retention

Order records — including proof of delivery — are retained for seven years for tax and legal purposes. Marketing list subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@kontorsupply.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale — though we do not sell personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights).

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Payment data is tokenized by our payment processor and never stored on our servers. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email to account holders.
