Terms of sale.

These terms govern your use of kontorsupply.com and the purchase of products from Kontor Supply Co. ("Kontor," "we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to purchase from Kontor Supply. You represent and warrant that all information you provide — including your name, delivery address, email, and payment credentials — is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you submit.

2. Products

Every chair is a one-of-one unit with a unique SKU. Inventory is finite and listings may be removed at any time without notice. Condition grades (New, Open-Box, Used) are disclosed on every listing. Photographs may depict a representative unit but the SKU-specific listing description governs. Herman Miller® and Aeron® are registered trademarks of MillerKnoll, Inc.; Kontor Supply is an independent outlet and is not affiliated with or endorsed by MillerKnoll.

3. Orders and pricing

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase at the listed price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including inventory errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inability to fulfill delivery. If we cancel your order before delivery, you will receive a full refund. Prices, MSRP references, and availability are subject to change without notice.

4. Delivery

Kontor Supply delivers to Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn, and Long Island City. Typical delivery is same-day or two-day from order confirmation. Delivery windows are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (weather, building access restrictions, incorrect address, recipient unavailability, strikes, or acts of God). Threshold delivery is included — our crew brings the chair to the primary door of your unit, removes protective packaging, and hauls the packaging away. Our crew does not enter beyond the threshold, move existing furniture, or perform additional assembly.

5. Proof of delivery and order completion

An order is considered complete and the risk of loss passes to the customer upon proof of delivery, which may include a signed receipt, timestamped photograph of the chair at the delivery address, GPS confirmation from our crew, or an acknowledgement from any adult present at the address. You agree that our proof of delivery record is conclusive evidence of delivery absent documented damage or discrepancy submitted per the Refund Policy.

6. All sales final

All sales are final upon proof of delivery. We do not accept returns or exchanges except as expressly set forth in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Damage or discrepancy claims must be submitted with photo documentation within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Payment

Orders are charged at time of reservation or before delivery departure, at our discretion. You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the payment method on file for the full order total plus applicable taxes. Sales tax is collected where required by New York law. Chargebacks initiated in lieu of a claim under the Refund Policy constitute a material breach of these terms.

8. Warranties and disclaimer

Chairs are sold on an "as is, where is" basis. We disclose the condition grade of every unit and make no warranty — express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement — beyond the description on the listing. Any manufacturer warranty is a matter between you and the manufacturer; Kontor Supply does not assume or administer manufacturer warranties and is not a MillerKnoll-authorized service provider.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kontor Supply's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your order, your use of our website, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the chair giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Kontor Supply be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, personal injury arising from use of a chair, or property damage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kontor Supply and its officers, employees, and delivery contractors from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of a chair, or your violation of any law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or an order shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

12. Intellectual property

The Kontor Supply name, logo, site design, and all original content on kontorsupply.com are the property of Kontor Supply Co. Third-party trademarks (including Herman Miller®, Aeron®, Embody®, Sayl®, Mirra®) are the property of their respective owners and are used descriptively under nominative fair use to identify the products we sell.

13. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the site or placement of a new order after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
